Nixon-Jackson Wedding

Wow!! What a fun wedding! The bride, Michelle, looked beautiful, the groom, Joe, was oh so handsome, and the wedding party looked fabulous! We would like to thank all of our friends and family for making the wedding such a special day for everyone. You are all so wonderful. Here are a few of our favorite pictures. My mom, Sally, is a third grade teacher at germantown elementary. when the 2009 graduates were in the second grade she had quite a few of the students. this is her first class to graduate. she attended the graduation on sunday and took a few pictures with her camera. click on the page to the right to see the commencement pictures.

marcy’s 9 month session!

dayton bridal expo-sharnett bridal photo shoot

on saturday, we had such a good time shooting photos for sharnett bridal!  these gowns were all modeled in the fashion show at the dayton convention center bridal expo.  i recently ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaids dress from sharnett bridal and they are fabulous!  here are some of the shots we took of the models! thank you to all the models, we had such a good time taking your pictures!! :0)

friday night we had the pleasure of photographing kayla & tony’s wedding.  if you look back at keith & alison’s wedding in september you can see kayla was a bridesmaid as well as the sister of the groom.  both families were very welcoming and we had a great time on friday.  all of the decorations were beautiful!  there is no denying that kayla & tony are absolutely crazy about each other.  we are so honored to be a part of their day.  thanks a bunch kayla & tony! :0)

this past weekend, we ventured down to savannah, georgia for sommer & josh’s wedding.  this was a very special wedding for all of us.  sommer & josh are very lucky to have found each other, there couldn’t be a better match for either them.  they had their ceremony and reception at vics on the river, it was a beautiful location in downtown savannah. we managed to snap a few outside shots in between the rain drops but everything was absolutely wonderful!  here are some of my favorites from saturday, check back on friday evening to view the rest.

we’ve known trevor and his family for a pretty long time.  his dad has been my mom & dad’s chiropractor sense i can remember! (germantown family chiropractic) trevor has grown up to be a very nice fellow and it was great taking his senior pictures!

on tuesday, j.t. & his mom came back for more senior pictures.  the last session we were disturbed by hurricane winds so we were very pleased for just the small breeze that was in the air on tuesday.  we had a great time with j.t. and his mom was absolutely hilarious! the first picture i’m blogging was 100% candid, j.t. was laughing at something his mom said as he was walking to his car.  i just loved the expression!

i absolutely love fall! october is the best time of year for senior pictures!  i hadn’t seen tammy sense she was in the 2nd grade, my mom was her teacher.  she has definitely grown into a beautiful young lady and it was wonderful taking her senior pictures today. here are a few of my favorites from her session:

there’s only one word to describe this family. a fella in mexico asked me if rock & i were brothers and rock said we were very close friends. the guy said we were more than friends we were ‘compadres’. we have taken family portraits for this family for a long time. this is the first time on our blog. we love these guys and they are very dear to our hearts. check it out.   thanks, bob
